“Richie Horowitz, a hot-tempered New Yorker, and Richard Prince, an idiot savant, are investigators at Insurance Investigative Services (I.I.S). Richard, being a glass half full kind of guy, is constantly the brunt of Richie’s anxiety. The two are bound to one another when“The Chief” (Richard Prince Sr./owner of I.I.S.) finds out they have compromised a fraudulent injury claim that could irrevocably damage the companies relationship with their largest client, Golden State Insurance. Instead of firing Richie and his son, The Chief instructs Mo Reese, an aspiring lawyer and manager of I.I.S, to dump all irrelevant casework to “The Diicks”.
