Flying Junction is an online seller of vintage-inspired, authentic-looking subway signs and bus scroll prints. Our ever-expanding line of signs and prints include streets, stops, and neighborhoods representing cities throughout the world… with more cities being added regularly.

Fueled by our passion for vintage urban graphics and typography, our store first launched online at Etsy.com in late 2010. Prior to the launch of Flying Junction, we spent months researching original subway signs from the early 1900′s… recreating the lettering by hand, and paying great attention to detail in order to capturing the aesthetic of the originals. Our prints are offered up in a variety of sizes on both paper and canvas, individually and in collections. Using only the best printing methods and materials available, all of our prints are archival quality and made to last a lifetime… and then some.

During our first and second quarters of 2011 — after less than six months of launching our product line — We were featured on many prominent lifestyle and shopping blogs across the internet (visit our press page for more info).

Along with reproductions of authentic subway signs and bus scrolls, we offer custom signs to represent travel destinations, specific neighborhoods, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, bands and concerts, family member names, important dates, etc. Custom Signs feature the same look and feel as the original subway signs of the early 1900′s… and are available on both paper and canvas in a variety of sizes.
